Premier Division

PLAYERS entered a team in the league at the very last minute and although its not the side it once was, they showed they still have that winning feeling, although they went down 6-3 at the RED BAIZE, there home side of Lee Kendall, Jimmy Croxton and Zac Cooper saw them win 7-2 to record a 10-8 victory.....  newly promoted VILLAGE TAVERN sprang to the top of the league, handing out a 14-4 thumping to the MANOR A ..... other results saw BERRYHILL go down 11-7 to the evergreen TRENT TAVERN despite having a 3-0 lead at home at one stage......CROMPO A beat OGGYS BAR 12-6 on there return to the Prem..... and ANGEL had a great 10-8 win to get them up and running against CUCKOO B.

Division One

was a nightmare start for BLACK LION despite having five players they choose not to play the match against CUCKOO A, and face disciplinary action after only one game, the match was awarded to CUCKOO A 12.6 as per league rules......  OUR BAR had a great start to  the season with a resounding 13-5 win over ASHWOOD who were relegated from the prem last season.... New team LAMBOURNE took out MANOR B 11-7 ..... BRADELEY pipped JOLLEES 10-8 and TOP BAIZE had the bye 12.6 win...

Division Two

What a night of drama for new teams VINE v WEDGWOOD CRICKET CLUB,  Wedgwood turn up with a full side but all at the Vine, so once the option of travelling back from burslem to barlaston was ruled out, they decided to play the full 18 frames all at the VINE.... the night turned out well for them in the end as they beat the VINE 10-8.....  another new late entry to the league was ROBERT PEEL DRESDEN but they found TRAVS REST far to strong and went down to a heavy 15-3 defeat....... BUCKNALL CLUB had a comfortable start to the league accounting for HOLLYBUSH 14-4.....  new team TERRACE also got off to winning ways accounting for BELLRINGER 11-7..... and GREEN BAIZE got off to a flyer beating last seasons division one team ABBEY SNEYD 13-5.

PREMIER TEAMS PLEASE NOTE WE NOW NEED A PICTURE OF YOUR HOME SCORECARD, we are doing a pilot scheme of player stats / averages etc, if it goes well it will be brought in throughout all three divisions next sesson.....
