Merits Finals night report.....  held at Players pool Lounge .... Wed Jan 16th

All ran smoothly at the merits finals night, a great turn out of support saw a great standard of pool spread across the nights events. The main event been the premier singles with the semi finals seeing underdog Danny Jones going out 4-1 to the defending champion Neil Raybone, the other semi proved to be alot closer with Adam Davis fighting back to level from 3 down against Liam White only to see Liam run out the 4.3 winner...                  The final was played over the best of 11 with the ever green Neil Raybone having a convincing 6-2 win, which included three 8 balls to boot and leaves Liam White still trying to win the Wednesday singles title that has so far eluded him.

The sub singel's semis saw Nathan Jones (angel) edge out young Jake Cooper (Cuckoo) 4-3, whilst Matty Price (Travs Rest) had a walk over against Trev Brindley (Berryhill).... the final saw Jones leading 3-2 but with the match at his mercy came off the last ball to be almost perfect on the black only to see the white keep traveling and plop into middle bag.. Price then levelled and made no mistake in the deciding frame to run out a 4-3 winner.

Sub Doubles saw wins for Connor & Moore (Buck Club) beating O'Sullivan & Haslam (bradeley) 3-1,  Cheadle & Prince (oggys) went through against Miller & Moore (Travs Rest)..... Whilst the final saw a comfortable 4-1 win for Simon Connor and Kev Moore.
